Swimsuit
is a tight fitting costume worn for water activities such as - swimming,
surfing, diving or other activities like sun bathing. It is sometimes even
worn as undergarments for water sports. Swimsuit is an extension of bathing
suit and also described as a cover-up. The invention of swimsuit is dated
back to 18th century. Initially bloomers, tank suits and loc were the
designs worn however, it evolved and gave birth to the current swimsuit
which is much trendy and comfort There are numerous range of designs available in the market. Swim wear is not gender specific, it is available for men and women for all ages. There are unisex swimming costumes which can be worn by either both genders. Some of the commonly used men's swimsuit styles are - jammers, briefs, thongs and swim trunks whereas wetsuit, bikinis, one-piece and thongs are popular amongst women. Full body covered swimming costumes are also available for those who are not comfortable with the trendy swim wears.
