that consists of a single band of fabric. These can also be used for
swimming or while on the beach.

Fabrics:
Bandeau is mostly available in Lycra and nylon, though other fabrics
are also used like cotton, polyester, chiffon and neoprene.
- Lycra: It is a synthetic fiber and is used because it
provides elasticity to the garment, which is essential for good
quality and comfortable swimsuit.
- Nylon: This is a manmade fabric and is used for making
swim wear as it is lightweight and comfortable.
- Cotton: It is a very comfortable fabric but is not widely
used for swimwear as it clings to the water while swimming.
